Meet Chef Renaldo Singleton

Chef Renaldo D. Singleton Chef Renaldo D. Singleton was raised in Landover, Maryland, and is committed to both uplifting and sharing his love of the culinary arts throughout Prince George’s County. He graduated from The International Culinary School at The Art Institute of Washington, with an Associates Degree in 2011, Upon graduating he obtained experience into the Culinary Field by helping to open the Prime Rib Steakhouse located at Maryland Live Casino. During his time at Maryland Live Casino Chef Renaldo, with hard work went from the position from the title of Prep Cook, to Junior Sous Chef.

 

Chef Renaldo has worked throughout the DMV Metropolitan Area which included stints at MGM Casino, Renaissance Arlington Capital View Hotel, and the famed DC staple Vidalia owned by James Beard Award Winning Chef Jeffrey Buben. Chef Renaldo is currently a Chef de Cuisine at the Washington Convention Center.


The global pandemic of 2020, Covid-19, forced so many changes, including closures worldwide, especially in the hospitality industry. As a result, Chef Renaldo decided to “Do it Big” and founded his own company Singleton Hospitality Network. Using his vast experience over the years, as both a culinary student and an industry working chef allowed him to see his vision realized. He has been able to start
small by offering in-home personal chef services, as well as catering local events. He has also gained a following by offering restaurant-quality meals, that can be enjoyed at home, affectionately called,
“Sunday Dinner with Chef Renaldo”.


Chef Renaldo will soon be receiving his Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management from Stratford University. Upon receiving his degree Chef Renaldo plans to take his business into the next phase which will continue to include family friendly in-home causal services but will expand to become the premiere destination for businesses to find their full-service hospitality needs.
